Description

Even as a child I loved to draw, and in my youth painting became more and more important. It has always been for me a refuge, a place of inner expression and has now accompanied me for more than 20 years. Started with archetypal images of women, I was soon more concerned with the representation of the “interior”. Especially in times of upheaval, I was looking for an anchor, a source of strength. I found this in painting. Because through painting I could express my emotions, whether it was quiet blue paintings or powerful red works, it was always like a mirror. Just as we experience periods of calm in everyday life, and then again times full of energy and zest for action.
