Kurt Stimmeder is an Austrian contemporary painter and lithographer based in Linz. Working primarily with oil on canvas and original lithography, he explores the expressive potential of the human body, gesture and psychological tension. His symbolic figurative paintings reveal subtle emotional states through posture, movement and gaze, creating images that move between presence, ambiguity and inner experience. His works are held in private and public collections across Europe, the United States and Asia.
